Notes on Cinelerra

In order to be able to make slideshows, I had to go to Settings -> Preferences -> Recording, then ensure that "Import Images with Duration X Seconds" is NOT checked. By default, for me, it turned every image into one frame's worth of time, which was pretty much useless.

The information at this link is invaluable when dealing with Cinelerra. Given that it's a very picky program in its choice of what format it'll accept things in, this is invaluable. It doesn't seem to mind taking in AC3 sound, but forget about getting it to accept FLAC files or LAME-encoded MP3's.

Getting Cinelerra to Install on FC9

So far, it would appear that Cinelerra is hung up on libx264.so.58. This makes it a royal pain to try to get Cinelerra to install lately.
