Foreign Language Podcasts

Since winning an iPod Shuffle at the 2014 SHOT show, I've taken an interest in using it to practice languages besides English. Right now, I've been doing more in German than anything else.

German

  • Radio D, which is sort of a story/program put out as an English -> German language course. I find that there's too much English in it for my taste, but your mileage may vary. It's also infuriating how many shrill noises such as horns and computer beeps are embedded into the program as sound effects, and they're positively brutal on earphone wearers.
  • DRS International Podcast, which I rather like - it's an international news show. Advanced vocabulary, but that's what you have Beolingus for, ja?
